A new edition of the Slow Food-Cheese fair is being held at the Italian city of Bra. This time it will take place from September 21st to 23rd and of course, Quesería La Antigua is not going to miss it.
Two years ago when we went to the previous edition, we fell in love with it. This fair is one of the most important worldwide, as far as cheese is concerned. There are many companies and cheese lovers who travel to Bra during those days to enjoy and taste the cheeses that are exposed.
Bra
During the days that the fair lasts, we can visit the different cheese stands from different countries. We are getting ready for it, so that our best cheeses are perfect to surprise you. You may not believe me, but we also need to prepare ourselves, since this fair demands a lot due to the large influx of people that fill the streets of Bra.
The Slow Food-Cheese Fair is organized by Bra´s town hall and the Slow Food organization, which we really love. This company is mainly dedicated to giving visibility to local and traditional foods, so then they don´t disappear.
Activities during the fair
During this new edition, in addition to visiting the different stands, you can participate in a large number of activities that take place around the fair. If you are in Bra these days you can sign up until September 19 to one of these workshops:
- Taste workshop: Italian and international cheeses
- Taste workshop: wine and cheese pairing
- Ice cream workshop
- Bread workshop
In addition, to be able to enjoy the Slow Food-Cheese show, it will have an area for street cooking, food trucks and of course, a great variety of craft beers.
This food area will be located in Piazza della Birra, opening from Friday to Sunday, from 12PM to 12AM and on Monday from 12PM to 20:30PM.
Although there are a few weeks left to enjoy all this, we will keep you up to date regarding the Slow Food-Cheese show at Bra, because we are looking forward to it.
